We are proudly introducing  our new pastry ( Japanese Sweets, Wagashi) Chef,

 Mitzi Miyagi.

    Born in Miyazaki, Japan  -  a place rich in cultural heritage, Mitzi Miyagi naturally fell in love with traditional Japanese art.  At very early age, she learned Wagashi      ( Japanese confectionary ) from her grandparents.  Miyagi studied Art in US. Her working experience stretched from being a designer at companies to a Wagashi artisan in sweet shop.  Miyagi is excited to work at Yamazushi and said that she is grateful to have this opportunity to present the beautiful Japanese traditional art to people in North Carolina.
